Ms. Bhavana Tambat

Ms. Bhavana Tambat is a highly skilled Child Psychologist with over a decade of experience in the field of child and adolescent mental health. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Mumbai (2012) and has undergone extensive training in Play Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT – Level I).

Her professional journey spans various clinical, educational, and rehabilitation settings, where she has worked closely with children facing neurodevelopmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges. She began her career at Shanti Nursing Home (Aurangabad), where she specialized in Cognitive Remediation Therapy (CRT), Behavior Therapy, and Social Skills Training for individuals with chronic mental illnesses. She later worked with Billabong High International School, Mumbai, providing therapy for differently-abled children and conducting Shadow Teacher Training Programs.

In 2018, she joined New Horizon Child Development Centre, where she focused on assessments and therapeutic interventions for children with diverse psychological needs. Currently, she serves as the Head of the Psychology Department at Vivid Skies Child Care Clinic and is also a consultant at the Early Intervention Centre, Mira Road.

As the Head of the Child Guidance Unit at Mastishk Centre, Ms. Bhavana brings her expertise, compassion, and deep commitment to supporting children’s mental health. She specializes in working with children experiencing neurodevelopmental disorders, emotional dysregulation, and behavioral difficulties. Believing in a family-centered approach, she actively conducts parental workshops and therapy sessions, emphasizing that a well-supported parent nurtures a healthier, happier child.
